I am currently short December lean hogs @ 86.59…..
Do you have a trial subscription …technical analysis that covers this
and other commodities ?
The last trading day for lean hogs is the 10th of October….that leaves
4-trading days left……open interest for October is… 15, 637…..that’s
4,000 contracts a day to be dumped on the market each of the last 4-trading days …..all together
15,637 x 40,000 pounds = 625,480,000 Million pounds to be dumped
in 4-days…..with that kind of over-hang…..the December prices
should be plummeting…..But !!….the October market has only gone up….
…so that’s where your technical analysis comes in…..I can hold on till
the end of November………Should I bail-out and head for the life boats now ?…..Or wait it out in November ?…..It’s like
the Carpathia coming to the rescue of the Titanic….their timing
was a little off….all the Carpathia found when they arrived…..were
bubbles where the Titanic had been. Sincerely….Bob Herron
